Welcome to the club
We are an independent, volunteer run target sports club offering air, mini-rifle and shotgun shooting at our range in Frocester, near Stroud. We specialise in practical shoots, which involve a timed target shoot, through a range of obstacles. Our instructors and safety officers are trained with many years experience.
We encourage our members to enjoy the sport at whatever level they want to, many of our members just enjoy coming down to shoot and others enjoy shooting competitions.
Target shooting is the safest sport in the UK and fully inclusive of men, women, disabled and able-bodied members of all ages and abilities.
Our shoots are organised with safety and fun in mind, making it a great activity for both experienced shooters and complete beginners alike. The Club welcomes new members who may borrow Club rifles and equipment and will receive free tuition and advice to get them started.

Proudly affiliated with the UK Practical Shooting Association.
We are currently in the process of applying for Home Office approval.

What we do and dont shoot
​Fullbore rifle
Fullbore rifles fire a larger calibre of bullet. Fullbore target shooting demands single shot accuracy over a long distance.
GTSA collaborates with a number of other clubs to provide our members with fullbore shooting.
Where we shoot
Most of our shoots take place at our practical shooting range in Frocester, near Stroud, however shooters should note this is not currently suitable for Fullbore.
